Monthly Pay: $3,557 - $4,962 USD per month
Summary:
An outreach request arrives in a calling queue, gets checked, becomes a conversation, and closes with clear notes or an agreed next step. The Phone Outreach Agent makes calls directly, helping contacts understand the reason for outreach and connect with the right person. This entry level role sits within the call center team and works under a customer service team lead. The agent works with contacts, customer service colleagues, and scheduling staff to keep responses and handoffs clear. This position is fully remote and offers work from home in Utah, United States. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive assigned phone outreach requests through the calling queue, review the purpose of each request, and check previous contact notes before dialing.
- Check contact names, phone numbers, preferred contact details, and earlier outcomes in a CRM such as Zoho CRM, correcting clear entry errors.
- Place calls through a contact-center phone system such as Genesys, using assigned preview or predictive dialing settings and following the approved call script.
- Introduce the call purpose clearly, ask prepared questions, assess the contact's needs, and provide accurate service information without making unsupported promises.
- Listen to questions, explain available next steps, and direct requests outside the script to the customer service team rather than guessing an answer.
- Arrange requested callbacks through a scheduling and calendar tool such as Google Calendar, checking availability and confirming details with the contact.
- Enter call dispositions, contact responses, unanswered attempts, and agreed actions promptly so another team member can understand what happened without repeating questions.
- Follow the assigned retry process for unanswered calls, honor requests to stop outreach, and flag incorrect numbers or repeated connection problems to the team lead.
- Escalate unresolved questions, upset contacts, or system difficulties to the customer service team lead, including relevant notes and the action already attempted.
- Close completed outreach tasks and review recorded calls with the lead; quality is judged through accuracy, turnaround, complete notes, and dependable follow-up.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No experience required; related phone outreach, customer contact, or call center experience preferred.
- Ability to follow call scripts naturally, ask focused questions, and explain information in clear, respectful language.
- Basic understanding of call dispositions, callback tracking, contact preferences, and the difference between completed outreach and an unresolved request.
- Willingness to learn the named systems, including CRM updates, computer telephony integration, dialing controls, call recording review, and calendar entries.
- Accurate keyboarding and careful data verification, with the ability to document conversations while keeping attention on the caller.
- A reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet private workspace suitable for handling telephone conversations and contact information discreetly.
- Availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Fully remote work from home, with daily responsibilities completed through desk-based calling, scheduling, and online coordination.
- Structured onboarding and training on the named systems, approved scripts, contact notes, dialing workflows, and escalation steps.
- Regular check-ins with the team lead to review questions, discuss call examples, and support steady progress.
- Build practical skills in phone outreach, needs assessment, clear explanations, accurate call documentation, and organized follow-up.
