Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a subsidiary of Golden State Foods, is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for its Phoenix, AZ site. The role oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring shipping, rotation, sanitation, and safety targets are met while leading a diverse team in a 24/7 environment.

The ideal candidate brings 3–6 years in warehouse supervision, strong safety and inventory knowledge, and solid experience with barcoding and warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, including team supervision.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols, food handling, and inventory best practices.
• Proficiency in computer systems and reporting (barcoding, warehouse systems, timekeeping).
• Ability to lead a diverse team in a 24/7 operation with a focus on collaboration, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and monitors the day-to-day operations for the warehouse department to ensure that established objectives for shipping, product rotation, sanitation, safety, and timeliness are met or exceeded. (20%)
• Monitors loading, dispatch, and receiving times and making appropriate changes, ensuring compliance with QIP, HACCP, and DOT regulations. (15%)
• Routinely informs and communicates with employees to ensure compliance with established warehouse productivity, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures. (15%)
• Conduct daily/weekly audits use Pre-Operating Inspection forms, operational procedures and programs related to shipping and receiving and implement necessary improvements to achieve expectations for availability, storage, sanitation and security of inventory. (10%)
• Monitors and completes numerous computer-based and manual reports and related paperwork, including time records, daily logs, damage reports, etc. (10%)
• Monitors product damage and audits routes to ensure reliable product delivery. (5%)
• Plans and schedules manpower. (5%)
• Plans and coordinates vehicle and equipment maintenance and utilization reports. (5%)
• Conduct Safety Culture daily/weekly, and end of month observations. (5%)
• Maintain Equipment and maintain Pre-Trip maintenance. (5%)
• Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary. (5%)
