Job summary

Alstom in Phoenix, AZ, seeks an experienced OCC Manager to lead the Operational Control Center for light rail service delivery. You will manage day-to-day operations, incidents, and staff, ensuring safe, efficient transit compliant with FTA/ADOT standards.

Lead training, coordinate with Transportation, Maintenance, Safety, and external stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in service reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years rail operations experience in rail transit.
• Minimum of two years direct line control experience in rail transit.
• Proven staff management and coordination of complex operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily OCC operations to ensure safe, reliable rail service.
• Direct OCC activities for train movement, service delivery, and incident response.
• Coordinate planned events, maintenance, and disruptions to minimize impacts.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions for reliability.
• Ensure compliance with rules, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop OCC personnel; conduct performance evaluations.
• Allocate staffing and resources to maintain coverage.
• Direct incident and emergency management; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Support training and qualification programs for OCC staff.
• Maintain accurate daily operation logs and reports.
• Participate in audits and regulatory reviews.
