Job summary

Alstom in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Training Manager to develop, implement, and continuously improve regulatory and client training and quality programs for light rail operations. The role reports to the General Manager and partners with operations, safety, and regulatory teams to ensure safety, quality, and workforce readiness.

You will lead curricula design, testing, audits, and records management, supervise training staff, coordinate drills, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of direct, relevant experience in a passenger railroad, rail transit, or public transit operating environment.
• Strong knowledge of FTA/ADOT regulations and APTA standards.
• Experience managing staff and coordinating complex operations and training programs.
• Proven ability to develop and implement quality and training programs, curricula, tests, and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, evaluate, and continually improve regulatory and operational training programs for light rail and streetcar personnel.
• Design and maintain curricula, lesson plans, examinations, and competency assessments.
• Ensure compliance with FTA, ADOT, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead training delivery, coordination of instructors, facilities, and resources.
• Supervise training staff and ensure timely initial and recurrent training.
