Job summary

Piedmont Plastics is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Phoenix market. The role focuses on promoting and selling products in-person to business and industrial establishments within the Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of outside sales experience in plastics, industrial distribution, or graphics-related sales.
• Personal vehicle in good condition.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to travel almost exclusively with some overnight travel.
• Positive attitude and team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and referrals.
• Provide sales support to existing accounts and close daily opportunities.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing accounts.
• Communicate daily with sales team/management on orders and customer concerns.
• Maintain and enhance product and technical knowledge in the plastics industry.
• Follow up on leads and application opportunities.
• Contribute to the team effort.
