Job summary

AMH in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Leasing Agent to be the company's primary sales representative for prospective residents. You will drive occupancy through consultative selling, relationship building and lease conversion.

Responsibilities include engaging with potential tenants, presenting housing options, negotiating lease terms, and guiding applicants through the leasing journey in compliance with state laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of related sales or customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Drives leasing performance by responding to inquiries and following up with prospective residents.
• Engage with potential tenants, presenting housing options to encourage applications and occupancy.
• Negotiate lease terms and explain leases clearly to new tenants.
• Ensure leasing activities comply with applicable laws and maximize occupancy.
• Collaborate with underwriting and leasing teams to guide applicants through the leasing journey.
