Job summary

Tallgrass MLP Operations, LLC is seeking talented engineering students for a Summer 2027 internship in Lakewood, CO. The program runs May–August for ten weeks and will be in-person or hybrid at our Lakewood office.

You will learn PHMSA rules, assist with audit prep, and help refine inspections and enforcement workflows, including creating AI-based training tools from O&M procedures. Mentorship and field exposure are provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an approved Bachelor of Engineering degree with expected graduation Dec 2026–May 2028.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required; familiarity with process flow diagrams preferred.
• CAD experience is a plus for design review and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Learn MOP/MAOP Confirmation andPHMSA-related procedures.
• Assist with audit prep—reviewing records, procedures, SSPs, and field locations for audit readiness.
• Support refinement of agency inspections and enforcement status updates.
• Develop training/testing tools from O&M procedures using AI.
