Job summary

Tallgrass MLP Operations, LLC invites motivated interns to join the Flow Assurance team in Houston for Summer 2027. You will learn hydraulic and fluid property calculations, assist engineers with data gathering for simulations, and help prepare presentations of results.

The program runs May–August for 10 weeks, offering mentorship, hands-on projects, and exposure to real-world oil and gas operations in a leading energy infrastructure company.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in accredited Bachelor/Master's program in mechanical, chemical, or petroleum engineering.
• Graduation date between Dec 2026 and May 2028.
• Basic knowledge of fluid flow and thermodynamics; strong communication and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to use hydraulic and fluid property calculations software with mentorship from Flow Assurance Team.
• Assist Engineers in gathering data for simulations and updating models if familiar with software.
• Post-process simulation results and prepare presentations and reports.
• Attend trainings/webinars as needed.
