Job summary

Labcorp in Illinois is seeking a Phlebotomy Training Coordinator to join our team across Lake County and Northwest Illinois. You will support onboarding of new employees and deliver ongoing training on company policies, procedures and Lab Information Systems.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of phlebotomy experience; preferred 1+ year training and people leadership. Travel within the territory is expected to support client sites and branches.

Qualifications

• 3 years or more of Phlebotomy experience drawing patients of all ages.
• 1 year or more experience training employees
• 1 year or more experience as a people leader
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
• Deliver ongoing group and individualized training for work performance and education.
• Provide resources and programs to accomplish training objectives.
• Evaluate and update training materials and plans.
• Travel to client sites or other branches to assist in training.
