Job summary

Palmetto Primary Care Physicians seeks a skilled Lab Trainer/Phlebotomist Float to join our team across multiple lab and draw site locations in the Charleston area. Travel between sites will be required to provide staffing coverage.

You will perform venipuncture, supervise and train new hires, develop training materials, and ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and other standards. A valid phlebotomy certification and 2–3 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited phlebotomy training program.
• Current phlebotomy certification (ASCP, NHA, AMT, or equivalent).
• Minimum 2–3 years phlebotomy experience; prior training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection across ages.
• Train new hires and monitor competency.
• Develop training materials and ensure regulatory compliance.
