Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Mount Pleasant, SC. This role involves collecting blood samples, handling specimens for various tests, and ensuring accurate data entry and patient interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Assist with administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
