Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a phlebotomy-ready team member in Evansville, IN. You will assist with donor interactions, ensure a welcoming environment, and support safe blood collection processes. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights and stand for long periods; schedule changes are common.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Take time to personally connect with donors—listen to their stories and help them understand the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and friendly environment so donors feel comfortable returning.
• Be detailed oriented all day to ensure blood collection meets goals and regulatory requirements.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setup/teardown at donation sites; may require a minimum height of 60 inches for vehicle operation.
