CALRegional is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Technician Skills Assistant to support instructors and students in Fresno, CA. The role includes assisting with labs, grading, and preparing learners for externships, with evening shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The ideal candidate holds a California CPT1 license and can communicate well with groups, multitask, and stay organized in a busy educational setting. Flexible scheduling and a collaborative team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• California CPT1 license required or in state eligibility.
• Experience in phlebotomy and blood collection is preferred.
• Proficient in capillary, syringe, vacutainer, and butterfly methods.

Responsibilities

• Assists students with skills within the scope of their subject.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated part‑time Phlebotomy Technician Skills Assistant to join our team.We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! Morning, Day, and evening schedules are available.

Schedule is:Tuesday & Thursday; 5:30 pm- 9:30 pm

Location: Fresno, CA

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists students withthe skills associated with the scope of practice for their designated subject.
• Assists lead instructor in evaluating, reporting, and recording student performance and progress.
• Assists lead instructor with all required skill labs, grading class assignments and exams.
• Prepares students to go on to an externship.
• Assists students in developing an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.
• Provides a professional role model for students.
• Maintains current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective communication strategies

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy TechnicianCertification (CPT-1)
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Proficiency in all aspects of blood collection, including capillary, syringes, vacutainer, and butterfly methods
• Comfortable with speaking to large groups
• Ability to multitask and think critically
• Organized and detail-oriented
