Job summary

CALRegional is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Technician Lead Instructor in Petaluma, CA, to guide students through phlebotomy theory and hands-on practice. No teaching experience required, but CPT licensure and lab experience are expected.

The program runs evenings, Monday to Friday, 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm, with opportunities for bonuses and promotions. This role emphasizes professional mentoring and student success in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Current CPT License required.
• 3 years of documented on-the-job experience in a CLIA lab within the last 5 years.
• Proficiency in blood collection methods: capillary, syringe, vacutainer, butterfly.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in all aspects of the Phlebotomy Technician scope of practice.
• Evaluating, reporting, and recording student performance and progress.
• Prepare students in a 72-hour class to go on to a 40-hour externship in a lab or hospital.
• Assisting students to develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.
• Providing a professional role model for students.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Phlebotomy Technician Lead Instructor to join our team. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! The Phlebotomy Technician Programs run for 3-12 weeks. Applicants must be available from :

• Monday through Friday from 5:30 pm- 9:30 pm
• Location: Petaluma, CA

Duties & Responsibilities:
