CALRegional is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Technician Skills Assistant in Roseville, CA 95661 to support instructors and students. You will assist with skill labs, track progress, and help prepare students for externships in a healthcare education environment.

The role requires a California CPT-1 license, strong patient communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Morning to evening shifts are available, with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Current California CPT1 license.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Proficiency in blood collection (capillary, syringes, vacutainer, butterfly).
• Comfortable with speaking to large groups, multitasking and critical thinking.
• Organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with the skills for their designated subject area.
• Assist lead instructor in evaluating, reporting, and recording student progress.
• Assist with skill labs, grading class assignments and exams.
• Prepare students to go on to externship.
• Help students understand values, attitudes, and professional behavior in healthcare.
• Provide a professional role model for students.
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter and communication strategies.
