Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist for its Beaufort, SC location. The role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for testing, and maintaining a safe, professional environment.

You will interact directly with patients, explain procedures, and ensure accurate recordkeeping. Preferred qualifications include phlebotomy certification and 3 years of phlebotomy experience, plus healthcare customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing following established practices.
• Has direct contact with patients and explains procedures to patients while drawing blood in a safe and accurate manner.
• Performs daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintains a safe and professional environment.
• Performs forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties per procedures.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
