Job summary

ICONMA is seeking a Phlebotomist for our Beaufort, SC location. The role involves drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining a safe and professional environment.

You will interact directly with patients, explain procedures, and ensure accurate recordkeeping. Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, optional phlebotomy certification, and prior phlebotomy experience (3 years preferred) with 2+ years in a Patient Service Center setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Our Client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Phlebotomistfor their Beaufort, SC location.

Responsibilities

• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• Performs daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintains a safe and professional environment.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
