Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical Phlebotomy Training Program completed.
• Prior phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Proficient in data entry and information systems.
• Ability to operate automated instruments with proper training.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing with accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze, interpret, and validate test results for clinical use.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Identify and resolve technical and quality-related issues using judgment.
• Ensure compliance with quality control, QA, infection control, and safety.
• Organize workload to meet turnaround times and performance goals.
• Serve as a resource to staff with guidance and technical expertise.
• Participate in training and competency development of staff and students.
• Assist in evaluation and implementation of new procedures and instrumentation.
• Support operations by maintaining supplies and promoting patient-focused care.
