Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification preferred/required per facility.
• New graduates welcome at director's discretion.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures in hospital, outpatient and off-site settings.
• Serve as receptionist for patients and staff in laboratory operations.
• Enter and communicate patient data using the LIS and other systems.
• Maintain patient records and assist with clerical tasks as needed.
• Follow patient identification, specimen labeling and biosafety protocols.
