Job summary

Atrium Health in Winston-Salem is seeking a Phlebotomist for our Laboratory department. This full-time role offers a 36-hour workweek with a Saturday-Sunday-Monday shift from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm at the Winston Campus.

The successful candidate will collect blood specimens, ensure proper patient identification, and enter orders into the LIS while delivering reports. CPR certification and an accredited phlebotomy program are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR Certification required.
• ASCP, AMT, ASPT or equivalent certification from an accredited phlebotomy program.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens accurately and timely.
• Identify and deliver patient samples to appropriate lab sections.
• Enter lab orders into the LIS and deliver reports.
• Maintain inventory and monitor expiration dates.
• Follow safety and patient identification procedures.
