Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a phlebotomist to assist with blood collection and specimen processing in a fast-paced healthcare setting in Austin, TX. You will draw blood, label specimens, centrifuge, and ensure accurate documentation while following safety protocols.

Responsibilities include communicating with patients, verifying orders, and maintaining sample integrity. Must comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and complete departmental trainings as required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection.
• Label, centrifuge, and process specimens.
• Record maintenance data and prepare specimens for transport.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
