Job summary

Mindlance is seeking an experienced phlebotomist to perform blood draws and specimen handling in a fast-paced lab environment. The role requires accurate labeling, centrifugation, and data entry while maintaining strict compliance with safety protocols.

The candidate will explain procedures to patients in a clear, courteous manner and participate in ongoing department trainings to uphold quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Requires phlebotomy certification as required by state law.
• Minimum 6 months’ venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge, and decontaminate as required.
• Record maintenance data, update patient information, and ensure proper specimen handling.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly and courteously to patients and families.
• Package, label, and transport specimens per test orders and SOPs.
• Attend annual department trainings and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
