Mayo Clinic is seeking a Phlebotomist for the Outpatient Lab Service. The role involves venous and capillary collections, POC testing, and ensuring specimen integrity and proper labeling. You will train and mentor staff, interact with patients professionally, and participate in ongoing lab operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or phlebotomy training with rotation or equivalent experience. Two-year tenure may be needed for internal transfers. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A graduate of a phlebotomy training program with clinical rotation OR 3 months of phlebotomy work experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs venous capillary and line collections and Point of Care testing for all ages.
• Instructs patients on specimen collection procedures and ensures patient identification and specimen labeling accuracy.
• Keeps a professional image, works in a fast-paced environment, and mentors new staff as needed.
