Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a phlebotomy training program with clinical rotation or 3 months phlebotomy work experience.
• Foreign trained personnel provide equivalency evaluation at applicant's expense.

Responsibilities

• Performs venous and capillary collections and point-of-care testing to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensures correct patient identification, specimen integrity and labeling.
• Interacts with customers in a pleasant, efficient and cooperative manner; trains and mentors staff as needed.
