Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Phlebotomist to support Hospital Facility, PSC, IOP or Mobile Diagnostics with specimen collection and processing. The role may cover multiple locations and requires travel to mobile phlebotomy facilities or in-office sites as needed.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, entry into the lab system, and preparation for testing, while adhering to regulatory standards and Banner Health policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• Position may require DHS Fingerprinting Certification or the ability to obtain fingerprint certification.
• Valid state driver's license and auto insurance eligibility.
• Float positions require travel and flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Progression through career ladder II-IV is subject to completion of career ladder requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
• Enter samples into the company computer system.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to analysis areas.
• Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
• Follow Code of Conduct and established policies.
