Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona (SQL/LSA) is seeking a Phlebotomist for coverage across Hospital Facility, PSC, IOP, or Mobile Diagnostics. Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and sample processing with emphasis on quality and safety.

The role requires phlebotomy certification, HS diploma and flexibility to work at multiple locations with varied shifts. Travel to mobile facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy program completion or experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• DHS Fingerprinting Certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive specimens, ensure proper patient and specimen identification.
• Enter demographics, tests, and ordering data accurately for processing and billing.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards; participate in quality assurance and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Assist in training new staff and monitor workflow to reduce costs and improve service.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers and support multiple locations.
