Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection in Hospital Facilities, PSC, IOP, or MDS locations in Arizona. You will receive and process specimens, enter patient and test information into the LIS, prepare samples for testing and distribute to the appropriate area.

You must follow regulatory and departmental procedures and maintain patient privacy. Responsibilities include ensuring correct patient identification, specimen labeling, handling, and communicating

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program completion or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification required by state regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent required where state rules apply

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens ensuring correct patient and specimen identification.
• Enter and verify patient demographics, tests requested, and location in the LIS.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and transfer to appropriate area.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards per department procedures.
• Provide courteous, professional service to internal and external customers.
