Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for blood draws and ensure comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Collect blood using venipuncture or capillary puncture with proper labeling.
• Transport specimens to the laboratory and ensure proper processing and storage.
• Adhere to quality control and safety protocols to maintain specimen integrity and accuracy.
• Maintain and calibrate phlebotomy equipment and supplies; ensure cleanliness.
