Job summary

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is seeking a per diem phlebotomist to draw blood from patients across all groups and notify the technologist when needed to ensure proper specimen processing.

The role requires the ability to work independently under supervision and to meet qualification requirements, including phlebotomy certifications or transcripts and a high school diploma or equivalent. This position may operate on a per diem/shift basis within the Palm Beach Health Network.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or proof of program completion with successful certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent certificate.

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable and proficient in drawing blood from patients of all groups and alerting the technologist as necessary for proper specimen processing.
• Employee must work independently and take direction from immediate supervisor.

Education

Certified Phlebotomist, Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Initial Phlebotomy Certification or transcript demonstrating Phlebotomy program completion resulting in successful certification

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate
