Qualifications

• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• DHS Fingerprinting Certification may be required depending on department/location.

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection and processing with correct patient and specimen identification.
• Enter and verify patient demographics, tests requested, and collection details in the system.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and ensure quality and accuracy in all procedures.
• Provide coverage across multiple locations including hospital facilities, PSCs, IOPs or mobile services.
• Meet productivity and quality standards and participate in team and departmental initiatives.
