Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories seeks a Phlebotomist for day shift, covering multiple locations (Hospital Facility, PSC, in-office, or mobile). This role is 40 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays in Gilbert, AZ.

New grads: $19 per hour; Experienced: $21.07–$23.36 depending on experience. Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, sample preparation for testing, and strict HIPAA adherence.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program completed or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• DHS Fingerprinting Certification or ability to obtain fingerprint certification.
• Valid state driver’s license where employed and eligible for company auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Collect and verify specimens with correct patient and specimen IDs and enter data into the system.
• Enter demographics, tests requested, location, dates, and physician data for processing and billing.
• Prepare samples for transport and assist in initial processing for analytic testing.
• Maintain quality and productivity, follow procedures, and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
