Responsibilities

• Collect and process blood specimens from patients for testing.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and proper labeling, handling, and transport of specimens.
• Assist in recovery of patients and rapid response to medical emergencies as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle sharps and biohazardous materials following regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
• Work with computer systems and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Perform other test administration and specimen collection as assigned.
