Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtains quality blood samples using phlebotomy methods for all ages.
• Ensures accurate patient identification and proper labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of specimens.
• May assist in patient recovery from adverse reactions and rapid response in emergencies.
• Communicates procedures and addresses patient concerns to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Handles sharps and biohazardous materials per regulatory requirements for safety.
• Complies with HIPAA and uses computer systems effectively.
• Performs additional test administration and specimen collection as assigned.
