Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years phlebotomy experience in a clinical/hospital environment.
• Current or prior LabCorp experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency acceptable in lieu of work experience.
• Ability to work in fast paced/high-volume environments.
• Must be 21 years of age or older; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage and travel to various sites to perform phlebotomy duties.
• Assist in supervising a team of phlebotomists covering multiple Patient Service Centers & client sites.
• Observe new employee performance and report observations to the supervisor.
• Perform site inspections and report findings.
• Provide ongoing training to phlebotomy staff.
• Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory, and logs.
• Address customer service issues promptly and professionally.
