Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to provide daily support to a segment of the phlebotomy team. You will ensure efficient workflow, uphold safety standards, and mentor staff in proper collection techniques.

This onsite role involves coordinating specimen collection and assisting with training and scheduling changes. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred), and a national certification

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Phlebotomy Technician certification or equivalent.
• Experience: 3–5 years in phlebotomy.
• Knowledge/Abilities: leadership, strong communication, problem-solving, organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily activities of phlebotomists and students.
• Coordinates workflow for timely specimen collection.
• Provides instruction and guidance; handles difficult draws and research kits.
• Signs off on training and annual competency documentation.
• Supports scheduling and policy improvement discussions.
