Qualifications

• Seven years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available on weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
• Travel and flexible hours to cover multiple locations with minimal notice.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab technology systems.
• Maintain data entry accuracy for patient registration, test orders, and standing orders.
• Enter billing information and collect payments, safeguarding credit card information.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Perform clerical duties such as inventory, stock supplies, and answering phones.
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies, manuals, and employee handbook.
• Complete training courses and stay current with phlebotomy techniques.
