Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Tallahassee is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead patient services and PSC operations, with a Monday–Friday schedule 6:00 AM–3:00 PM and rotational weekends.

In this role you will train staff, oversee daily phlebotomy activities across mobile, in-office and PSC sites, ensure QA compliance, and manage staffing, schedules, budgets, and performance reviews. Travel is required to support multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years supervisory or leadership experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience in phlebotomy or healthcare environments.
• English communication ability required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all assigned facilities, PSCs, mobile and in-office phlebotomy.
• Implements SOPs for phlebotomy services per Quest Diagnostics guidelines.
• Ensure licensure requirements are met and QA/QC documentation is complete.
• Holds regular staff meetings and manages scheduling and overtime to meet coverage needs.
• Participates in interviewing, hiring, training, coaching and performance reviews.
• Manage budgets and cost containment; participate in capital expenditure needs.
