Northern Nevada Medical Center, Sparks, NV, is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor for a full-time day shift. You will perform venipuncture, skin puncture, and related duties while ensuring quality and timely specimen collection.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years phlebotomy experience, state licensure, and supervisory background. Benefits include comprehensive medical plans, PTO, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement through the UHS family.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State Laboratory Assistant licensure.
• At least 3 years of experience in Phlebotomy.
• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proof of clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Draws blood competently, consistently and expediently with as little patient discomfort as possible.
• Is knowledgeable about which color top tube to use and the volume of blood needed - knows test requirements.
• Assists laboratory technician, performs clerical work when needed.
• Responsible for phlebotomy staff scheduling & handling vacant shifts due to sick time or PTO.
