Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a phlebotomist for a per diem role. You will perform venipuncture and capillary sampling, ensure patient identification, and maintain accurate records.

This position offers a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and benefits through Universal Health Services. Previous phlebotomy experience and BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State Laboratory Assistant licensure required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Draws blood competently, consistently and expediently with as little patient discomfort as possible.
• Identifies the patient using the two-unique identifiers described in the hospital’s policy before services are provided.
• Records phlebotomy requisitions on log.
