Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required with 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; specific training may be required at certain locations (minimum 100 hours rotation; 150 sticks if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy via venipuncture, fingerstick or heelstick as required.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and proper labeling of specimens.
• Review requisitions and follow up on missing information.
• Communicate specimen collection requirements and fasting instructions to nursing or physicians.
• Transport and store specimens; monitor collection lists and unreceived specimens.
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area and follow safety and lab dress code policies.
• Perform other lab-related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
