Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a PRN Phlebotomist to collect blood specimens from patients of all ages and process orders per protocol. You will maintain confidentiality and deliver professional customer service in a busy clinical lab environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, with phlebotomy training or one year of experience. The role may require flexibility across clinics and adherence to OSHA/HIPAA policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy class preferred or equivalent experience.
• One year of phlebotomy experience or completion of phlebotomy class.

Responsibilities

• Collect laboratory specimens from patients of all ages.
• Follow laboratory policies and procedures for orders and specimens.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with providers and staff.
• Assist with training new employees or students.
