Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Fayetteville, TN for a 5-month contract. You will draw blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, and interact with patients in a professional setting. Onsite with flexible scheduling and potential overtime.

Required: high school diploma; 1–3 years phlebotomy experience; California/Nevada/Washington require phlebotomy certification. Travel to multiple locations may be needed; valid driver's license and clean record preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent — Required
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training — preferred
• Phlebotomy certification — preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public
