Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 3-month contract in Washington, MO. This onsite role involves drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Strong communication and adherence to procedures are essential.

The position runs 7:00 AM–4:30 PM with overtime eligibility. Requires a high school diploma; phlebotomy certification preferred and needed in CA, NV, and WA. Candidates should be able to travel to multiple sites if required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing per procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info and proper labeling post-venipuncture.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and positive patient interactions.
