Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II Site Lead in Hellertown, PA for a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays. The role centers on drawing blood, preparing specimens, and guiding daily Patient Service Center activities to ensure accuracy and patient safety.

Leadership responsibilities include mentoring staff, ensuring SOP compliance, and coordinating with supervisors while maintaining high-quality patient care. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Review test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, and aliquoting as per test orders.
• Perform clerical duties such as data entry, inventory, and answering phones.
