Job summary

LabCorp seeks a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to oversee Patient Service Centers in Macon, GA. This role coordinates PSC staff, works with laboratory teams and clients to ensure smooth operation and timely blood collection and specimen processing.

Responsibilities include supervising workflows, maintaining quality and compliance, managing patient flow, and traveling to additional sites as needed. Requires phlebotomy certification or training, leadership experience, and strong customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience as a phlebotomist.
• 5+ years leadership experience.
• 2+ years pediatrics experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report performance, compliance or staffing issues to supervisors.
• Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory and information logs.
• Monitor monthly productivity and report deviations.
• Address customer service issues promptly and respectfully.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication among coworkers.
• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
