Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team in Birmingham, AL. The role combines phlebotomy duties with coordination of Patient Service Centers, ensuring efficient operations and strong client relations.

You will work closely with PSC staff, management, and laboratory teams to maintain optimal service levels and perform phlebotomy and specimen processing with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency preferred.
• 2+ years as phlebotomist; 1+ year in a people leader role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Patient Service Centers within assigned area.
• Coordinate PSC staff and lab/client interactions.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing under supervision.
• Manage patient flow, wait times, and information logs.
• Process billing information and collect payments as needed.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
