Job summary

Talentify is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to support laboratory operations and patient care. You will collect specimens, ensure accurate labeling, and manage workflow to meet service delivery needs across multiple sites.

The role requires completion of an accredited phlebotomy program or equivalent experience, strong customer-focused service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Phlebotomy Program which includes practicum OR 18 months phlebotomy experience in a multi-patient clinical lab.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform order entry, specimen collection and processing per WI; identify patients and collect samples (venipuncture or capillary) as age/condition requires.
• Prioritize workload and coordinate Phlebotomy/Laboratory support teams to meet service needs.
• Provide instructions to clinicians, nursing staff and patients on proper specimen collection and handling.
• Use LIS to obtain patient demographics, enter clinical information, generate labels, track specimens, and print reports.
• Assist with bone marrow collection and processing as ordered by clinician.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of WI, policies, and quality systems; participate in staff meetings and quality assurance activities.
