Job summary

Talentify seeks a skilled phlebotomist to assist in blood draws, specimen labeling, and proper handling to maintain specimen integrity.

Responsibilities include centrifuging, data recording, and compliant specimen transport. A valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience are required. Strong communication and proficiency with Office tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and tests orders.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients and other staff.
• Package specimens for transport and store according to required temperature and protocol.
