Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team. This full-time role performs core functions in the phlebotomy section and collects specimens using proper techniques.

The role also involves maintaining asepsis, preparing specimens, operating the lab information system, and contributing to quality improvement while following hospital policies and participating in ongoing education. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy training program or documented phlebotomy experience is required.
• Professional registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures and collect specimens.
• Maintain asepsis and assist patient care before, during and after collection.
• Utilize the laboratory information system and document QA data to improve service quality.
• Perform pre-analytic tasks and specimen preparation, including centrifugation and packaging.
• Assist in training new associates and support outpatient site workflows.
