Qualifications

Collect, verify, and process patient registration data and test orders in hospital/LIS; ABN compliance.
Process specimens according to established guidelines.
Maintain safe, clean environment and protect patients and staff per policies.
Perform waived tests and assist other testing platforms under supervision.

Responsibilities

Performs proper specimen collection (blood and non-blood); labeling, handling, transport and storage.
Collects and verifies patient data and test orders in HIS/LIS; ensures ABN compliance.
Processes specimens as per guidelines and maintains safety standards.
Maintains infection-control and hazardous waste policies; ensures a clean workspace.
Performs waived tests and assists other testing platforms under supervision.
